Portland, Oregon, April 25, 2011 – TrailerChix kicks off national contest to find a guest lifestyle host for upcoming two week 1,800 mile video production tour promoting glamorous living in small eco friendly footprints.
The winning Host of the TrailerChix 2011 Roll will travel and host segments together with the online magazine’s lifestyle editors along the scenic stretch of highway 101, starting in Lund Canada and ending in Hollywood California, from August 21 – September 5, 2011.
The winning Host will have the opportunity to create and produce their own short segments in a number of lifestyle categories including, food, travel, DIY and design. Segments will be pushed out to over 11 million households across the country through a number of networks.
“This is a great opportunity for the winning Host to express their passion,” said Shelah Johnson, TrailerChix’ Editor-in-Chief. “Our magazine covers a wide range of topics that support the small footprint and lifestyle. We are looking for people who have very specific ideas of how and what it takes to be very successful living and working remotely, either full or part-time.”
Contestants must summit a 2 to 5 minute video along with a 250 (or more) word essay on what it means to them to “Break Free of the Pack”. The contest is open to men or woman, aged 21 years or older. All submissions must be received by July 1, 2011 to qualify.
